Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In setups it does not refer to Dolby Atmos, just Dolby Digital Plus, DTS. I had a hard time getting my surround sound to work right, because the TV use’s ARC, a system that was new to me. You need to use a designated HDMI. The TV comes with 3 HDMI hook-ups of the 3 the third HDMI is what’s called an ARC and this ARC, HDMI connection is the only way I got my 5.1/7.1 surround sound Onkyo receiver working. Then once connected you need to go into the TV menu and turn this ARC on. Now perhaps if my system was a Dolby Atmos system the TCL with its ARC system would have recognize it, other than that possibility there was no reference to Atmos on this TV.
