“55” tv purchased in 9/19 and woke up today turned it on .. black screen. Called tcl support told me can’t help me because no receipt. According to the label on back of tv was manufactured in June 2018... and they won’t replace or fix tv..”

Go to your settings usually if you go to color and take it up a few notches it should turn from black and whilt to antique and go up more notches to color. Use your contrast and it should be fine
