• Yes, there is a 3.5mm audio output on the TV which will allow you to connect to a receiver via a supplied 3.5mm to RCA adapter. Additionally, there is an optical audio output which would allow you to do the same thing. If your surround sound setup doesn't require a receiver - for example, a powered subwoofer with these inputs - you'll be able to connect the same way.

• I have not done it since this sound is better than my new Sony 4k set which mandated a separate speaker. You should look under the SPEC tab but it has the necessary hook ups IMO.
