The exterior dimensions are 48.5 inches wide and 28.25 inches tall as measured. I estimate the unit to be 3.5 inches deep. If you plan to have the unit sit on a table, the feet are near the ends and your table should be more than the 48.5 inch wide so there is room to spare. The feet raise the unit by only 2.75 inches so there is not really space for a center channel speaker to sit on the same surface as the TV. It is a two person job to unpack and physically set up the TV due to its size.
