• Most retailers will not agree to go to the extent of unboxing a new product... for several obvious reasons; one being, they could end up with an 'Open Box' profit loss after all their time has been spent in vein. Most will simply tell you to take it home, try it out and then give you 'X' amount of days for full refund if you have unsolvable issues with it.

• Have to ask the store manager. kinda doubt it. Will tell you I bought mine for Christmas and up and running Christmas Day. There are no banding is Roku model under sues and the corner shadow's are not there. Do not think you can but a better TV for the price. All the reviews on line are correct. Best 4K, Roku model under $600.
