“If using cable, how is quality of picture, clarity, colors, etc. w cable & broadcast channels? Is viewing quality worth getting or should I wait until ready to eliminate using cable? Is viewing quality good with spectrum cable service?”

I can tell you the picture is good with HD Antena. We recently got rid of cable so I couldn't answer that. We really love the picture quality and are glad we made the choice to purchase this TV.

I have cable service but I run it through an HD Run Prime and my Plex server and get it on my TV through the plex app. Quality is fine but you won't see the benefits of 4k or hdr with cable service. If you have a 4k Netflix account, Amazon prime, or a 4k blu ray player and uhd disc's you'll see a huge improvement over the cable service. If you only have cable and your current TV is fine then I'd wait until you have 4k hdr content u less you see this TV on sale or the picture on your current set it bad.
