This TV does indeed feature a built-in Chromecast. The built-in Chromecast has the ability to support 4K. However, this is influenced by the app and content you are casting. There are Ambient Mode Settings that can be accessed by going to Home>Settings>System>Ambient Mode. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
