Don't have a large enough living room to give you great opinion. I saw comments about Sony having better side viewing. I own two TCLs and love them both; THE BEST DEAL for the price, period. Maybe just go with the 70 or 80 inch, if your area is big enough to worry about side viewing; 65 probably not the right size for what you need. Again, cannot go wrong with TCL

Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet.
