“Why is the picture from my Verizon HD cable box delayed 4-5 minutes every time I turn it on? I get the sound right away, but cannot change stations. I've been through every HD and picture setting on the Roku menu that I can find.”

Ask Verizon, that sounds like it's their problem if your on the hdmi port and thats happening. You can also try to change the hdmi port.
