“The TV is supposed to have Chromecast built-in. And I can cast from YouTube app to the TV (not screen mirroring), but it does not work perfectly. In addition it doesn't show up on Google home or any other app as a Chromecast device. Help?”

Thanks for the reply. I did some digging myself and I think I got the answer independently. There is no Chromecast Built in for TCL Roku TV's. Roku does support casting from apps that enable DIAL protocol (YouTube and Netflix are all I know). I didn't realize this so I thought that the information I read from one of the websites is correct (that Chromecast is built in on TCL series 6). They were wrong and I am stupid to have believed it.

Roku is a streaming platform that offers many features, including thousands of streaming channels (apps) and over 500,000 movies and TV episodes. Some content is free while other content is subscription based or pay-per-view. You can go to www.Roku.com/whats-on to see what streaming channels and apps are offered through the Roku Channel Store.
