• No it is part of the operating system.The only thing you have to do is leave a card on file with them in case you want to rent movies.I had a pre paid card with only $2 on it and has been fine for a year now .I picked this tv because of Roku because they have a broad amount of apps.If you download the manual pdf @ Tcl.com they are great at informing all the features with this Tv.I like this tv and am glad i didn't get Lg or Samsung.
