As an update to my original answer..Yea this tv does support live-tv pause however, if the signal fluctuates even a bit the recording STOPS and the tv begins to show live tv. Really? - Yea. That stinks. Roku live tv pause works as expected and even if the signal gets a bit jumbled it continues to record, which is what I would expect. NOT SO with the GOOGLE/Android tv like this one. So yea, it works but not as perfect as we had hoped. I am not aware of a decent TV in 65" or larger with a Roku interface so we are stuck with what we got here it seems. As much as I despise Roku stuff - it does work and works well. So keep this in mind. If you have a 100% solid OTA signal, then you won't be bothered by this issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the TCL 65QM751G fully supports pausing LIVE TV (OTA or Arial or Antenna TV) - whatever someone calls it. You need a USB stick and go through the setup wizard. It's a bit of a challenge and I had to call TCL but between the rep and myself, I have it working. It's not as clean of an operation as the TCL Roku "pausing" but it does work. It will not do recording via timers or anything. Just pausing live tv. I believe it's limited to 90min but haven't verified that yet. We use it if the phone rings or some salesman shows up at the door.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you connect a USB Drive to your TV you should be able access Live TV Pause. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
