“I just purchased this TV and very pleased with the price-performance ratio. One issue..how do I DISABLE the TV Speakers? I'm using optical out to my soundbar ..under Audio, I only get "Passthru, PCM and Auto".”

Adding to TCL Expert's answer, take the volume to 1 and let it disappear. Then lower it to 0. First the volume bar will disappear. Then, patiently wait for the crossed out speaker symbol to disappear. It should go away in 10 seconds approximately. And there you have it! Completely muted at 0 volume with no symbols showing!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You cannot completely disable the volume on the TV when it's on Optical. However, it can be put to zero. When that's done, then there would be a speaker icon showing it's disabled. If that's distracting, then the volume on the tv can be changed to 1 so the speaker icon does not appear. Furthermore, you have to use the soundbar remote if connected via Optical. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
