The number of speakers does not directly lead to better sound, neither do watts which are often lied about anyway, whether we are talking about TVs or about cars etc etc. This TV will play pretty loud, but like any of them the sound while clear for voice is hardly hi-fi quality, you're not going to magically feel you're in a mixing theater.
