Like most TVs with 120Hz native panels that have been released in recent years, the 8-Series does not officially support 120Hz input from the few limited sources capable of HDMI output at 120Hz. Although some reviewers and customers have reported success in being able to receive 120Hz HDMI input from certain devices with specific combinations of resolution, bit-depth and frame rate from the HDMI source device, customers are reporting that support greatly depends on the specific source device and it’s settings. QuestionHi, I recently looked at a Series 6 TV in the 50" model, and it looked great - and has a shiny screen much like the plasma TVs that were sold pre-2014. Does the Series 8 in 75" have this same coating on the screen that makes it shiny?

QuestionWhy is this TV showing as clearance? Is there a new version coming out or is this model older than I thought? It gets great reviews so I was hoping to get one.

- Answer It is a great TV and was/is their top of their line (biggest @ 75” and series 8, their highest level). It may be discounted for 1 or 2 reasons. 1. Open box maybe? 2. TCL just announced their 85” is coming out (their first that size) a few weeks back and this one may be discounted to make room for them. The new 85” doesn’t have a series number yet, but it was expected to be around a 7 or 8 or higher when it comes out in terms of quality.

QuestionDo the online chat operators not know which stores have inventory of the 75" 8 Series. I understand that there arn't any available for delivery in my area but they wouldn't tell me which stores do have them.

However, there are thousands of streaming channels and over 500,000 different movies and TV episodes available through the Roku streaming system. QuestionHi, I purchased the TCL 75Q825 a few months ago and have audio issues when turning on the tv with the ROKU or cable remote. Most of the time it works well, but occasionally the volume doesn't come on or is muffled. Any suggestions?
