• A:Answer The filter can be vacuumed to extend the life of the filter, however replacing the filter is recommended. Life expectancy for a filter is between 3 to 6 months depending on use and air quality. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

• A:Answer But hasn't ionic purification been proven to do more harm than good, by generating ozone indoors? I mean, Sharper Image went out because of that.
