    Powerful fresh air

This thing is like having an air quality robot. Anytime anyone smokes nearby, the air quality score goes to 0 and it turns on full blast and stays on until the air is clean. Simple to use. Works great but it does take a few minutes to clear a room. Most of the time it is very quiet. It just works in the background all the time.

    Initially flickering - Be$t Buy!

Initially, t'was flickering, but display is fine now. Guess it had to warm up 1st; consistently providing the best air quality. U will have to clean some compartments.....I know this is a good purchase that'll last over a decade like my Shark vacuum cleaner.

    Great air purifier

This air purifier is great but seems to be missing a few features. A timer would be great. Seems to run on low setting even after changing it to high. I like to leave it on through out the day. Its very light, doesnt weigh a ton.

Yes. But you do have to clean the outside and the filter more often w pets. It is worth it to be able to breath

Yes, the Shark BreatheClear can help reduce airborne smoke particles and improve overall air quality, which may make a room feel fresher. However, if your main concern is smoker odors, results may vary, as odor removal is typically most effective with dedicated activated carbon filtration.

  • Will it work with an app?

Well guess I look elsewhere. Sadly Shark is a little behind the times

    Answered by jeffw

  • I recently purchased the Max and set it up two nights ago. I removed all plastic and followed the steps for setup. It’s still slowly climbing to 100% in my living space and currently at 74%. Normal? My bedroom HP162 made 100% in less than a day.

It's normal for the air quality percentage to vary based on room size, airflow, and current air conditions. We recommend running the unit continuously for a few days and ensuring the air intake and outlet are unobstructed. If concerns persist, please contact Shark Customer Support.
