It’s very possible and is fairly simple if you have basic electrical knowledge. It all depends on the wire gage, breaker size and whether it’s isolated or not. You end up not using the neutral so if you have ANY doubts at all, I will highly recommend getting a licensed electrician who’s familiar w/ EV chargers. There are too many things that can go wrong if you muck something up, up to and including burning down your house or car.
