This is the first game Nintendo is charging $70 for. Nothing extra included here beyond base game. Doesn't sound like this will be the new price across the board (for now) but will be priced on a "case-by-case basis"... so this won't be the last $70 game we'll see from Nintendo. There were many SNES games that were released at $69.99 such as Star Fox, Super Mario RPG, Street Fighter 2, etc... all were $70 on launch day. The reason this game is $70 is because it's Zelda, Nintendo knows you will pay the price to play on release day. Just look at the digital version, its the same price as the physical copy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This game is probably the largest game Nintendo has ever sold. While I don’t exactly agree with the price tag, it is understandable that a massive game would have a larger price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Blame activision as they started price hiking all their games and nintendo is copying them by doing it to their most popular franchises knowing people will pay without complaint. Corporate greed
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Oh yes you are correct... They WILL acept it and quite happily be muttering "take my money Nintendo... Please!!!... I want you to have it!... in fact, Take my soul while your at it!!!" LOL. But seriously, people can complain all they want but in the end me moe than happy to oblige the price jump.
