• A:Answer Hello ling, thank you for your question regarding model # HMWB361WS. Per the Use and Care manual, your hood has removable aluminum mesh filters. They must be cleaned when the FILTER light illuminates on the touch panel or whenever they collect grease. When used over a grill, wok or other high grease applications, more frequent cleaning may be required. The filters may be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Soak the ventilation filters in hot water using a mild detergent. Rinse well and shake to dry. Slight discoloration can occur when cleaning the filters in a dishwasher. This has no influence on the function of the grease filters.
