Q: Questioncan the griddle be removed the "space" be used as an additional burner perhaps for a wok

Q: QuestionI have to replace my five star gas cooktop. The grill doesn’t work and we can’t find parts. I have a 48 inch stainless, with six eyes and a griddle grill combo. I haven’t found anything that says grill/griddle. What do you suggest looking for?

• A:Answer Hi Cassie, thank you for your question and interest in Model:PCG486WD. Per the Use and Care Manual, these are the cleaning guidelines for the grates: Clean the grates after each use. • Place the grill grate into a sink and pour boiling hot water over the grate. Lay a dish towel on top of the grate and pour more hot water over the towel. Allow the water to soak into the residue. Scrape away debris with a soap-filled scouring pad. • Stubborn soil: Soft Scrub®. • Suggested cleaners; rinse and dry immediately: -- Hot water and detergent -- Dishwasher safe -- Soft Scrub® -- Soft brass wire brush for stubborn residues. Hard steel wire brushes could scratch the porcelain grate coating and cause premature oxidation of the grate. • Stubborn stains; rinse and dry immediately: -- Soap-filled steel wool pad -- Lestoil® -- Other degreaser

Q: QuestionI have the 48” Professional 6 burner/grill that is about 25 years old. I read the instructions to find the serial number, looked hard, but can’t find one. . I need to order a new gas tube(rust hole in mine). Is that gas tube standard on many years?
