Depends if your drives are formatted. If not, they may not mount.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.new drives? they need to be formatted before you can see them. if this doesn't answer your question i have no other clue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1) are these drives from a windows machine? If so they are not in a mac format. Based on your OS version you may be able to read them anyway but it's not a guarantee. If they are mac drives already you need to see if they are just not mounted/initialized. 2) have you used disk management to see if it is visible to the OS? When you pull it up it may prompt you to initialize the disk. If this is the case, allow it and it should then start to show up. Otherwise look at the list of available drives and see if it is a healthy drive with partitions that are in good shape. If it wants you to create a partition and you think there should be stuff on the drive you need, go to #3. 3) if neither of these make sense to you or you are worried about losing files, contact your local mac nerd or you may need to pay someone to either set it up or get your files off of it without damaging the data.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may need to repartition the drives and format them to be able to use them.
