The side cameras do require additional wiring and a multiplexer box to be installed, and they are only compatible with the f200 series dash cam.

Please try again later.Purchase another U1000 set, install the main cameras one in the front and one in the rear, so you'll get 4k front and rear, then install the two rear cams on the sides, one on the driver's and one on the passenger's. Now, you have a 4 channel set using 2 channel equipment. Problem solved. (;
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there! Unfortunately, the U1000 is a 2-Channel system only. The only models that will support the side cameras/exterior cameras are F200PRO, F790, X700, X800. As they function with the multiplexer box.
