The F50 camera supports up to 64g card (it comes with a 8g card) and it does not record while the car is off. But a hardwire kit is available for $29 where it can record while the car is off. As far as hours of recording, I haven't check but a guess for me would be about 2 weeks on a 64g card depending on usage of course. Hope this helps.

The storage space specifically reserved for Continuous Recording Mode is dependent on the "Memory Card Partition" setting but the approximate total storage space for a 64 GB MicroSD card is 8 hours. The F50 is able to record with the ignition off in Parking Surveillance Mode but will require hardwiring installation with the Thinkware Hardwiring Cable first. We hope this helps! The F50 dash cam can record in parking mode but keep in mind it may drain the battery
