“I don't want to mount this on my window. This is a dashboard mount also isn't it? But I find they always say suction cup mount but they never stick good, where would you put it so it will stay and be secure other than front window for front view”

If the surface of your dashboard allows for it, you can use that. Note that you can use an adhesive to mount this dashcam, which is included. The adhesive is made by 3M and sticks very well.
