• Hi Jay, If you are interested in hardwiring your dash cam, you may purchase the additional hardwiring cable (TW-SH) to do so. By hardwiring the dash cam, the vehicle can maintain power even when your vehicle's engine is turned off to support parking mode surveillance. Please note that our dash cam are not battery-operated and instead uses a super capacitor that must be connected to a power source to operate. • I installed mine to the fuse box. I purchased the kit separately on best buy.

• You can buy the hardwire kit from Best Buy, but I'm unsure if it voids your car warranty though.
