It grabs recordings whenever there is any sort of bump in movement and saves those separately from the "full time recording" videos. I also got the wiring harness for the parking feature. I highly recommend getting that also. On top of all of that - excellent recording quality!

I wish I could keep it, but if it keeps freaking out, I'll have to return. Too great of a deal? Anyhow, it's too cool for me.

The problem was the thing kept recording incidents while I was driving on the highway and changing from 3rd to fourth gear. I set the sensitivity to the lowest possible setting and it didn't seem to make that much difference. I bought a Go pro after returning it.

I like The smartphone app but it's annoying you can't save clips with a push of a button. It records whole driving trips and like I said no save button for a short burst.

Please note that you will have to go into the driving folders on the mobile app to access a settings tab that will allow you to download individual 1-minute segments of your drive. Once you have downloaded a file, you can open the downloaded files folder on the app and export them onto your phone gallery.
