Im not sure, but this is not my 1st time using tidal and they never charged me erroneously, if you do a trial through best buy, you must cancel through best buy. If you go directly with tidal, then you cancel through them.

Their hope is that you won’t cancel but you have other predetermined plans that don’t correlate with theirs or any other service that offers free trial period. Are you not able to set a reminder for yourself to cancel the subscription at the appropriate time? You can always ask your digital assistant for assistance, Siri, Google, Bixby, Cortana, Alexa, etc… It’s not difficult
