Q: QuestionCan these tiles be used to alert you when you are getting too far from your things?

- A:Answer Great question! Tile does not currently have a feature that notifies you when you lose connection to your Tile. While there are competing products available that claim to offer the separation alert feature, it is clear from customer reviews that this feature does not function reliably. We want to ensure that any features we release to our customers continue to live up to that standard. While Tile doesn't currently offer a general separation alert, you can sign up for a Premium account to gain access to Smart Alerts! With Smart Alerts, you can designate specific locations for individual Tiles in order to be notified if you leave them behind. This feature uses geofencing to notify you when a Tile has been left behind, as opposed to a general break in connection. Between home, work, the gym, or anywhere else you frequently visit, you can feel reassured knowing that you'll never leave your important items behind! We've also increased the Bluetooth range to 200 feet and the battery life has been improved to last up to 3 years with no additional upkeep. - DF

Q: QuestionIf you are out of range of the Bluetooth does it show the last known location of your lost item?

- A:Answer Even if you are out of range from your Tile, there are still ways to find your lost Tile! When that communication is lost, either by force closing the app or by exceeding the range, your app automatically stores the last place your Tile was connected to the app. This can be found by accessing the map under that specific Tile in your app. You can also use the power of our Tile Network to try and help find your lost Tile. Q: QuestionI have two Tile Mates. I was able to replace the battery in one Tile, but the cover in the other Tile will not budge when I try to slide it open - no matter how much pressure I apply. Recommendations?
