Great question! Tile does not currently have a feature that notifies you when you lose connection to your Tile. While there are competing products available that claim to offer the separation alert feature, it is clear from customer reviews that this feature does not function reliably. We want to ensure that any features we release to our customers continue to live up to that standard. While Tile doesn't currently offer a general separation alert, you can sign up for a Premium account to gain access to Smart Alerts! With Smart Alerts, you can designate specific locations for individual Tiles in order to be notified if you leave them behind. This feature uses geofencing to notify you when a Tile has been left behind, as opposed to a general break in connection. Between home, work, the gym, or anywhere else you frequently visit, you can feel reassured knowing that you'll never leave your important items behind!
