Are they weather proof? null

I would say that they are weather resistant. It sticks to the item you want to track via a 3M sticker which is pretty strong but might not last if it is consistently exposed to temperature swings or water. It also has 3 small holes on the front and a little button on the side so there is the potential for water to get inside. I wouldn’t expose it to water for a prolonged period or submerge it but it would probably survive a spill if dried off in a reasonable amount of time.
