    • Answer Thanks for asking! The Tile Sticker can stick to almost any flat clean surface. Please keep in mind that it also has a Bluetooth range of up to 250 feet, and will only require your Bluetooth to be on to connect within that range. Please note, for your Tile to update its location an internet connection as well as your Tile connecting via Bluetooth will be needed.

  • QuestionHow loud is the sound when trying to locate the tile?

    • Answer Generally speaking, the tile is loud enough for me to hear it, a A great feature is that the system displays a series of circles that indicate how close the phone and the tile are to each other. If my keys are in the car instead of my house, I sometimes can’t hear the ring, but I can still the concentric series of circles.

  • QuestionAre they weather proof?

    • Answer I would say that they are weather resistant. It sticks to the item you want to track via a 3M sticker which is pretty strong but might not last if it is consistently exposed to temperature swings or water. It also has 3 small holes on the front and a little button on the side so there is the potential for water to get inside. I wouldn’t expose it to water for a prolonged period or submerge it but it would probably survive a spill if dried off in a reasonable amount of time.

    • Answer Hi John - Yes! Using any of our Tile items for tracking luggage is a great use and highly recommended in the event your luggage is misplaced. Having a Tile placed in lost luggage will help you with the piece of mind that you know where it is and can create a plan to retrieve it as soon as possible. Our Tile Slim is probably the best Tile item to use for luggage due to its size dimensions. It can fit into the name tag or easily slide into any of your luggage departments. But if you want to buy a Tile Sticker for something around the house and also toss it in your luggage before a trip, that will work well too.

    • Answer This doesn’t have a rechargeable battery. According to the website, it has a “3 year non-replaceable battery”. I take this to mean that when the battery dies, you’ll have to replace the whole thing. I hope that’s not true—I might have reconsidered buying it.

    • Answer Thank you for asking. Yes, you can attach a Tile Sticker to your iPhone. The Sticker (2022) comes with an adhesive back that can adhere to almost any flat clean surface. When you purchase a Tile, it comes with access to the free Tile app, where you will activate or 'sync' your Tiles. You will then be able to ring your Tiles and see location updates through the app. Location updates will be the best approximate address for your Tiled item.     • Answer Thank you for asking! We designed Sticker to be low-profile and have a seamless display, no matter where you want to put it. It uses a non-toxic adhesive, and is meant for a one-time application. Once applied, the adhesive bond will completely cure after 24 hours for maximum staying power! While the adhesive should hold up against standard wear and tear, please be advised that removing and reapplying Sticker will decrease the efficacy of the adhesive. If you ever want to move your Sticker, we advise that you apply a new adhesive strip before attaching it to a new item. Additional adhesives can be purchased online or at your local retailer. If you have any further questions or run into any issues with the adhesive side of your Sticker, feel free to contact us at [email protected].

  • QuestionDoes Tile work from inside a metal container and how far will I be able to see the location on the map?

    • Answer Hi Fastmover - Good questions. Tiles work off of Bluetooth signals which can be disrupted by metal obstacles. For best results, you do want to try and clear any obstacles that will block a Bluetooth signal. There is no limit to how far you can see a Tile on your map in the Tile app. If the Bluetooth signal can be recognized by the Tile network, it will show you that location in the Tile app. Thank you
