Are new apps able to be downloaded to this device? null

You can download new apps if TiVo makes them available. You are able to go into their library and download any streaming app that they make available with their license.

This isn't like the Apple app or Google play stores. There are many apps available that are preloaded and when a new one is available it will be automatically available. Suggest you look at Tivo.com for the apps that are available. All the apps that are available are streaming apps.
