• cablecard ready (cable provider) and I think FIOS ... no satellite or att uverse for the roamios

• No. It only has OTA (Over The Air) reception, through an antenna. There's no option to receive cable or satellite. I have Directv. I plan to drop it and just live with streaming (some free, some paid) and the local channels. The local channels actually broadcast a lot more than what Directv gives you. In Houston there are about 10 main stations, but over the air, each one has at least 2 and typically 3 or 4 other channels with watchable shows.

• No, the OTA does NOT have the ability to connect to satellite or cable. That's why it is for Over The Air.
