No, this model can only be used with an antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Tivo Roamio DVR is strictly for use with an antenna and is meant for people that are tired of paying the cable companies large monthly bills so they want to cut the cord and view the free over-the-air uncompressed HD broadcasts. I cut the cord about 2 years ago and have never looked back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No; it only works with OTA transmissions (i.e. antenna)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This is only for over-the-air broadcasts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this is for Over The Air (ota) broadcast signals. You can however use it in addition to a cable box, but that sort of defeats the purpose of this box. Is designed for the cord cutter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.nope - ota means over the air
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it's for Over-the-air antennas only. Tivo does make other Roamio models that will hook up to cable, though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Over The Air. OTA. You will need a TiVo that accepts a cable card for cable TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Why would you even want to do this?!? The whole purpose of the unit is to get rid of cable bills and pay only the $15/month TIVO service fee, which is worth it, believe me. I guess you could just buy a HDMI selector splitter if you wanted to jump back-and-forth between cable and Tivo OTA.
