We have a smart tv, yes you can access your accounts. you do not have to set up your accounts again just login to Netflix on TIVO. you can still access your Netflix button or use smart tv apps. either one will work, as long as you have subscribed to ex Netflix Amazon or any of the other programs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the apps on either device. I find that because I use the Tivo most of the time for live TV it is easy to use it for my apps as well. You can still use the TV apps but it seems to be easier to use just one remote and the TV remote works really well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It won't interfere with your smart tv but you will be able to access all those apps either through your tv or through the TiVo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Sony XBR 55X850B smart TV can access Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc through the Smart TV or through Tivo-Roamio unit. Will need to login and e-mail and password once on the TiVo units if you choose to accesses through them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can still use the apps on your smart tv and use the apps on the tivo if you want to. You just sign on to the accounts you already subscribe to on the Tivo if you want to go through the Tivo apps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.your setup of accounts on your tv dont link with any other device whether its tivo or anything else. If your using another device and it has the app you have to sign in to that app for the device to use it. The interface may be the same or different. In most cases I'd say just try it out and see if its something you like to have or not however since it's an app it functions same way as your tv app does ... it can pause rewind fast forward based on the apps function. recording a stream video isnt possible if thats where your headed to. also since it wont use the apps in your tv chances are you'll have to use a different input to access the device itself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
