“will tivo work with charter cable i have charter for my digital cable but only allows to record 2 shows at a time would this work with charter cable cause ,y fall schedule might be big this year and i would get the tivo dvr that lets you record 6 shows at a time.”

Yes it will work fine. You just have to get a cable card from them.
