- Answer Hi, 1. Yes the GO 520 does have traffic camera alerts, they are provided free of charge for the lifetime of the device. All types of camera can be accessed fully via the over the air data connection to your smartphone, and fixed location cameras can also be downloaded directly to the device as an update via the MyDriveConnect support software on your computer. 2. - Answer Hey there, The updates are not automatic. You will need to update by connecting to WiFi or a computer. I hope this helps, Reiss @ TomTom
