QuestionDo I need a smart phone or computer to use this product?I am giving this as a gift to someone who does not have either a smart phone or a computer and was wondering if it would still be functional without either of these devices.

- Answer It works on its own, but in order to access all of its functions, such as tracking your goals and/or progress, you will need to have a device to download apps.

- Answer It does have a metric system option and can function in Portuguese. Both options can be changed via the watch while wearing or online through syncing. Hope this helps!
