“I'm looking to buy a gps system that I can take to Europe with me . I need it more so for travelling around on the train and for when I'm walking around cities to help me find restaurants, museums, stadiums, malls, hotels etc . Etc . would this work”

Hey, Jimmy! This device would fulfill these needs, however the map subscription that comes with this device is only for the USA - you would need to purchase an extra map for Europe on top. I think you would be better off taking a look at the GO 520 - this comes with Lifetime maps of the world, meaning you don;t need to buy any new maps, ever! Hope that helps, - Cameron at TomTom
