QuestionCan you program a preferred route?

- Answer It memorizes all addresses put into it, so it is easy to program the route again. However, you always have to wait for the tom tom to receive the gps signal before receiving directions. It is not mapquest so it just won't pop up the same directions. The tom tom has to receive the gps signal before giving you directions.

- Answer It comes with a 12v cigarette lighter type plug which the USB cable then plugs into.

- Answer no, no info on traffic construction, roadblocks etc. once a road was closed for construction and it was useless in helping us find a detour. We wound up stopping and asking residents for directions.

- Answer Hi, As answered above - yes, it is possible to enter the latitude and longitude coordinates. When you click on Navigate to just select the Globe icon to enter the latitude and longitude coordinates. - Answer Hi there! This device only comes with a Lifetime subscription to USA, Canada & Mexico mapping. QuestionI'm looking to buy a gps system that I can take to Europe with me . I need it more so for travelling around on the train and for when I'm walking around cities to help me find restaurants, museums, stadiums, malls, hotels etc . Etc . would this work

- Answer Hey, Jimmy! This device would fulfill these needs, however the map subscription that comes with this device is only for the USA - you would need to purchase an extra map for Europe on top. I think you would be better off taking a look at the GO 520 - this comes with Lifetime maps of the world, meaning you don;t need to buy any new maps, ever! Hope that helps, - Cameron at TomTom

- Answer As long as you have a windshield or somewhere to mount it inside the car, YES. Also need either a 12V lighter plug or a USB plug insert inside the car. But yes, these devices are pretty much universal in the vehicles that they can be used inside of.

QuestionMy GPS (not this one) is frozen. (no signal) I reset it and it worked for a week but now is frozen again. I'm going on a vacation in two weeks and will be in some remote areas so need one I can depend on. How strong is the signal on this one?
