Pros of the GPS. It has quick boot up time. Easy to navigate programming. Very accurate with destinations. It adjust your arrival time as you drive. You are able to put short cuts on main screen. Easy to make it calculate another route. Cons of the unit. No time on screen if you do not have a route planned. Makes you put in a Home Point before you can even use it. (I Know how to get home, its the getting there that is difficult.) Sometime it does not switch from day to night driving screen unless you have a route planned. You can change it in setting or create a short cut on main screen.

This is our first TomTom unit after a couple of Garmin units proved to be fragile and their customer service was pathetic. This unit is small but that's OK because it doesn't block the view out of the car. The screen is great, bright and clear with good lighting in sun or at night. Navigation is also good though some routes it chooses can be pretty exciting. We've seen very interesting areas on some of the country roads the unit has sent us down. That said, we always get where we want to go when it says we will. Some of the controls and functions are not readily apparent or easily completed but that's not a major problem. Overall this is a quality unit and we have used it with success.

In my line of work, I most needed easy/fast entry of addresses, and especially fast map updating as I move, so that I don't pass streets because the map does not keep up in real time as my mobile phone and Google Maps did. The Tomtom filled my needs at a reasonable price.

I love the fact that it shows you which lane to be in when it is time to exit or make a turn. So far I have had several trips with this GPS and it has been easy to use and not steered me wrong.

All of our cars use tom toms...very easy to use. Always gets us there..lol

TomTom makes a good drive and this is better than my 8 year old TomTom. Free map updates sadly does NOT include traffic camera locations or gas prices or traffic volume. All cost extra for each download. Good basic GPS has some errors on maps, and sometimes gives inaccurate locations. Get it on sale.

I have an older car without navigation and not wanting to use up a bunch of data for a trip to VA beach I bought this GPS unit. I love it! It's nice and compact, I love that it has a split screen when there are multiple lanes. The price was great for the amount of use I'll get with it.

Perfect for what I needed to get out of a GPS. It's got a lot of options, more than I really need to be honest. Decent size, easy to use and follow. Accurate directions. Great value too.

I've found when traveling, using the GPS mapping software in my cellphone took more power than I was able to put back in with the USB port in most cars. I travel a lot in Canada and the phone can use a lot of data updating map info, so the Tom Tom was an easy choice. It is the same software that came standard in my 2014 Mazda 6 and has a built in windshield mount. I now save data consumption on my phone and have the best of both worlds rather than relying on the phone for everything. Back to the Future. This is what I was doing 10 years ago.

This one is very easy to use. I like the interface and also I like that it has lifetime update.

TV is great! No issues. Good quality picture. Easy to set up and put together. Only nock I have is the volume on it. My old Vizio was a lot louder on lower settings.. Would be great with a sound bar.

Thought I could depend on my phone for gps, that was a joke. To spotty. Bought this as it has lifetime map updates and is super easy to use. The cost of paying to update the maps on my older very outdated gps was only a few dollars less than the purchase of a new one. Chose this because of positive reviews and awesome sale price.

All I wanted was a basic GPS that could give me accurate directions without other sophisticated functions to confuse me. The GPS worked well without any problems and can be updated regularly to the internet for new highway constructions.

This is my 4th TomTom, and only because I need more! They are reliable, have the auto-recalculation for when I try to go another way, and have lifetime maps. I bought this one when I relocated to another state and needed one for a company vehicle. I like their layout and simplicity of use. Never had a problem with one yet!

I love my TomTom. I bought it to use in LA. I am not used to all those lanes on a highway. My TomTom gave me views of all the lanes available and the lane I should be in. Directions, distances and times were beneficial. I never felt lost.

This is my updated TomTom. I am very pleased with all the features on it. Plus I am so glad it doesn't keep saying I am going wrong without repeating it over and over. It just adjusts and takes me from where I am. Very pleased!

Great screen size! Voice is clear and easy to follow. Maps are easy to follow & I especially like that they highlight exact lane to be in at any given time during travel.

I bought this as a gift for my in-laws whose ancient Tom-Tom died on them. They were able to set this up and get it running with no fuss. That's the way it ought to be. They have yet to call me with any kind of tech-support questions, say that it is still working perfectly, and are very happy with it. I'm happy too.

The initial map update took much longer than I expected. The unit works great and is much easier than using the map programs on my phone. This makes travel to new locations much less stressful. I really like the lifetime map updates at no extra cost.
