As a long time TomTom user I was looking for something with a little larger screen and life time map updates. This unit fits the bill and I am quite satified.

Product has been accurate and keeps my trip on track.

Bought for trip to Florida & it worked great. My old tom tom's maps were outdated & was cheaper to buy a new one & this one has lifetime map updates!

The size of this GPS fits perfectly into the small rubber basis I bought to stand it up in my car window so I can easily see it as well as hear it when I am driving. It fits perfectly into the small camera bag I bought to store it in when I am not using it. The charger and cord that came with it are very helpful if the charge goes down when I am using it.

This replaces an older model TomTom, so I'm familiar with the basic operation. I like the lifetime maps and inclusion of Canada, which is essential for my part of the US. However, the old interface permitted me to fully operate my device through the computer, which I've found impossible to do with this one. Too bad, because the older system made it easy to try out alternate routes and options easily without going outdoors to get a GPS connection. All I can do with this one is get a destination and one route. With the old TomTom Home, I could play around with all the options and alternates just as if the device were operating in the car.

I actually like the TomTom GPS. The free unlimited map updates makes the unit a real a money saver. I definitely got lost a few times depending on the TomTom, but I quickly recognized that I needed to make adjustments. It really a good product for the money.

Overall I am pleased with the accuracy of the Tom Tom and ease of use. The only negative I found is that the address field does not allow for a alpha character only numbers. You have to use cross streets to obtain an approximate location when the address includes a alpha character.

I just love this lil GPS. I am taking a vacation and we are traveling by car that doesn't have navigation so in order not to use all of my data using my phone, I purchased this GPS. It is perfect and was a great price.

We are so happy with this GPS it works great and the double lane feature is awesome for city driving.

I bought this Tom Tom for my grandson for his birthday. He is starting to travel and needs a Tom Tom. His first use was successful and he liked it a lot. It was simple and took him to his destination with ease.

I really like the tom tom because I swear I get lost in my bath tub, I used it to go to Columbus Ohio and I never got lost, it took me right where I needed to be!!!!!

Pros - affordable price, good size, nice image and voice directions Cons - hard to place and remove from the windshield, the menus are a bit complicated

I needed to replace my old TomTom. I was very pleased with the size and clarity of the display and the updated maps actually showed my home address (which my original TomTom did not). I also liked that it showed the speed limit for the major roads and highways I was travelling on, as well as my current speed on those roads.

voice prompts are very helpful when I turn and change lanes, and maps are easy to be updated, providing enough detailed info about streets I don't know. So far so good!

I purchased the VIA1415M to replace an older TomTom unit. This one operates similarly. So far I have only tested it for local driving. It works well. I also added an 8mb micro-sd card to expand the internal memory in case I want to download additional maps later. This was a feature I really wanted and this inexpensive unit has it.

Great for many applications. If you're not ready to use your own smartphone as a GPS. My parents loved!

The Tom Tom GPS does a good job. I previously had a Garmin and received the Tom Tom as a gift It does as well as my old Garmin. Only complaint it falls off the window about every half hour and identified several destinations as on the wrong side..

Couldn't beat the price. The screen is big enough for me. I really like the graphics showing me which lane to be in. It's gotten confused a few times otherwise I'd rate it a 5

If a GPS is necessary than this one will be best bet. I have a smart phone but my kids don't so when they travel this worked out better than an expensive new phone and plan.
