• A year later, yes Best Buy will provide a code after purchase. You’ll need to go on you switch and enter that code prior to downloading.

• from other reviews it seems like it is a phyiscal box but a download code inside... lol i was looking for the opposite and would have bought this if it wasn't digital. easier to share/sell/trade a physical game than digital. :/
