if you go directly to an Apple Store/outlet in your city, they can ensure casing removal not be a problem. it would fit if the cabling can be connected.

Looking at the HP maintenance manual from HP support page on your probook 4530s, the specs for a hard drive that can fit is anything 2.5 inches or smaller with a common SATA connection such as this Toshiba 1TB you are looking into.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only way to answer this question is, Do you know if your laptop is Sata HD or Serial HD? It has to be the same type of HD as the one in it. Without knowing for sure, you can take the HD cover off and you should be able to read if it is Sata or Serial. You should be able to do this without removing it. It is really easy to do and if you replace it, I would use a 1T, no less. Sorry I couldn't tell you for sure without having the laptop in my possession.
