• The difference between the height with stand (18.6") and the height without stand (17.2") is 1.4".

• I am going to go by the information on the box it came in. I have mine mounted on the wall, but the surface to the bottom of the TV, which is about the screen, is approximately 2" from the diagrams on the box (with measurements).
