“Has anybody been able to get this TV to work with Hotwire Communications set-top box? The TV & the STB don't seem to be able to speak to each other over HDMI. I tried all the Toshiba codes on the STB remote & nothing worked.”

Connect the Cable Box to one of the HDMI inputs on the TV. Use the TV remote to control the TV and the Cable Box remote to control the Cable Box. Try the Power On feature, when enabled, the TV turns on displaying the last used input. To activate it, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.
