If you use a phone number for your log in be sure to put a 1 in front. This gave me a fit.

(if you were able to download apps or check for upgrade you are good) Did you check your ID and password on a computer to ensure it is correct? FYI -- I brought this TV a few weeks a go and I was able to connect with no problems Good luck and enjoy the TV
