I am still investigating. Look out for internet cable caps. ATT now has unlimited 1GB Fios for $90 in our area. Xfinity tacks on $50, I think, for unlimited. If you have a large family, there are stream limits. ATT now has 3 streams on their paid service (extra $5 I think). As for content, I just added Plex for my movies I have on my home server. I haven't added channels an I am still figuring out Plex. There is now a 4 channel TV-DVR box that you can add if you are chose to s major city to get the main broadcast stations. Pluto seems to have most everything I am interested in watching. It appears there are many free TV apps but I haven't tried them out yet. Amazon Prime and Netflix seem to be good options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it is just yourself, you should do fine by dropping cable tv. If you have multiple people, probably not. Why? internet usually has 1 TB cap and with 3+ people you will likely hit that. There are limits to the number of streams you can have with non-cable providers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will still be asked for your cable provider sign in on some apps. Such as SHOTIME NOW.
