Any LED/LCD screen can be used as a monitor. I use a 22" HDTV as my main computer monitor. That being said, the PC experts recommend using a monitor designed for computers rather than a TV. It would depend on what you wish to do with it. I do just the basics on a computer. I tried a 39" TV and found it to be too large for PC use.
